自己紹介のフレーズ （Self-Introduction） ①

はじめてのレッスンのときは、あいさつの後、自己紹介をします。先生が自己紹介したあとに、自分で名前、年齢（言わなくてもかまいません）、出身地、家族、仕事、性格、趣味なことなどを話します。スクールによっては先生が1つずつ質問する場合もあります。簡単に自己紹介が済んでしまうこともあれば、先生との話がはずんで1レッスンがお互いの話で終ることもあります。「なぜ英語を学ぶのか？」といった、よくある質問にはすぐに答えられるように、あらかじめ話すことを整理しておくとよいでしょう。

名前・年齢・出身地を伝える

（先生）今回がはじめてのレッスンです。お互いに自己紹介しましょう。
■ This is our first time. So let' s introduce ourselves.

（先生）では私から自己紹介し ます。
■ Let me introduce myself.

（先生）あなたの番です。あなたのことを教えてください。
■ Now it' s your turn. Please tell me about yourself.

[名前 を言う]

（先生）お名前は？
■ What' s your name?

（先生）どのようにお呼びしましょうか？
■ What should I call you?

（生徒の例）私は洋子です。洋子は「海の子ども」という意味です。少し古風な名前です。 友だちはヨーコと呼びます。オノヨーコのヨーコです。ヨーコと呼んでください。
■ My name is Yoko. Yoko literally means "Ocean child". It's a rather classical name. My friends call me Yoko. Sounds like Yoko Ono. Please call me Yoko.

（生徒の例）私の名前は剣です。父が自分の好きなミュージシャンの名前からそう付けました。でも、自分はあまり気に入っていませ ん。
■ My name is Ken. My father named me after his favorite rock musician as Crazy band. But I don' t like my name very much.

[年齢を言う]

私は20 歳です。
■ I' m 20 years old.

今月25 歳になります。
■ I turn 25 this month.

30 代後半です
■ I' m in my late 30 s.

60 代前半です。
■ I' m in my early 60 s.

年齢は、言わないでおきますね。
■ I' d rather not say how old I am.

[出身地を言う]

先生ご出身は？
■ Where are you from?

生まれも育ちも名古屋です。
■ I was born and raised in Nagoya.

私は東京で生まれ、子ども時代も東京ですごしました。
■ I was born and spent my childhood in Tokyo.

大阪生まれで、大学に入るときに横浜に出てきからずっと住んでいます。
■ I was born in Osaka, but I came to Yokohama as a college student and I've been living here ever since.

親の転勤で日本全国を転々としました。
■ Due to my father' s job transfers, our family moved about from place to place all over Japan.

家族構成を伝える

（先生）家族と一緒に暮らしていますか？
■ Do you live with your family?

（先生）家族のこと について 教え て ください。
■ Please tell me about your family.

独身です。
■ I' m single.

一人暮らしで、犬を飼っています。
■ I live alone with my dog.

アパートで彼女と暮らしています。
■ I live with my girlfriend in an apartment.

夫と猫と暮らしています。2 人とも猫好きです。
■ I live with my husband and a cat. We're cat people.

4 人家族です。
■ There are four people in my family.

両親と姉、弟と犬2 匹と暮らしています。
■ I live with my parents, older sister, younger brother and two dogs.

父、母、祖母、姉と私の5 人家族です。
■ We are a family of five, father, mother, grandmother, sister and me.

結婚していて、男の子と女の子が1 人ずついます。
■ I' m married and have one son and one daughter.

夫と息子が1 人います。
■ I have a husband and a son.

妻と5 人の子どもと妻の母親と一緒に住んでいます。

[学校生活について]

一日の大半を研究室にこもって過ごしています。

[通勤について]

バスを使って30分かかります。
■ It takes me 30 minutes by bus to get to work.

通勤時間は車で15分です。
■ My commute time is 15 minutes by car.

電車を2度乗り換えます。東京の電車はとても混んでいます。
■ I change trains twice. The trains are packed with passengers in Tokyo.

[ランチタイムについて]

（先生）昼休みはどうしていますか？
■ How do you spend your lunch break?

1 時間かけて昼食を食べます。
■ I take an hour for lunch.

毎朝お弁当を作っています。
■ I make my lunch every morning.

会社の食堂で食べます。
■ I eat lunch at the company cafeteria.

ランチはいつも外食です。
■ I always eat lunch out.

昼はたいていコンビニ弁当かカップ麺です。
■ I usually eat a bento meal from the convenience store or a cup noodle for lunch.
